Dangerous dogs, let's talk!

In recent days there have been cases where new breeds of dogs deemed dangerous have seriously injured people, which is then returned to the fore a subject, that of dangerous breeds, long and controversial debate.

In my many years of experience as an educator dog and dog lover, I can say that there are no dangerous breeds, but owners are incompetent or unfit to manage the dogs, regardless of race, however, !

Any dog \u200b\u200bhas the capacity, if necessary, to bite and make evil, if it is in certain conditions of danger or discomfort, especially to defend themselves. The fact that the news BALZINI certain breeds more than others is due to the fact that if a dog bites such as a Yorkshire the news is not so tragic, if you put a dog to bite instead of a race bigger and stronger as Pitt Bull or a Rottweiler is easy because that would rouse curiosity will certainly attacked the victim to a bad end! But this is mainly due to the fact that dogs are bigger and stronger so they can do more harm! Now if you calculate, however, that in Italy there are more than 3 million dogs in our homes, you will also take into account As these are rare and sporadic incidents of violence against dogs man!

In all individual cases, then, if you go to the bottom of the story, we discover that the dog was not properly maintained or educated, or who did not live in a suitable place or that the owner does not knew not the type of dog that was supposed to manage and could not handle it properly. A dog that is in fact alive and well where it is handled properly is not a problem!

Take the example of the Pit Bull that everyone considers a dangerous dog. The Pitt Bull is not born as a dangerous dog, but simply more responsive than other races in the presence of other stimuli, such as animals or moving objects. Precisely because of this heightened responsiveness so the conscientious owner should seek not merely to further increase, which can lead to spiral out of control, and therefore react chasing anything that moves like a prey, be they people or other animals, but to ease this side of the character. The problem however is that most owners of Pitt Bull does not know this simple truth about this race and then does nothing to limit its reactivity and thus it is possible that at some point the dog ends up out of control. With simple precautions, however, the same Pit Bull could not only be a perfectly normal and affectionate dog but never become a danger to anyone!

Similarly to other dogs, if we learn to manage them properly and avoid many trivial errors that put them constantly in trouble and then making them nervous that they might react violently, but we will avoid many problems that often you have with the dogs!

A good measure then, that I think in this case you might take is not to make a distinction between dangerous breeds or not, but between races even more sensitive management, so maybe the neoproprietari should be tested to see if they actually know their dog and if, above all they are capable of handling it properly, otherwise they become a danger to society! In most definitely should be banned certain types of training, such as those for guard dogs, which simply enhance the violence of the dogs and take them to easily become out of control!

And what do you think about it? Does anyone have something to say or have experience in this sense he wants to share with others? Respond to this post many, I'm curious to know your opinions!
