In previous post I reported the rare case of a politician who worries about health problems. His note refers to a recent article published in Current
Science
, a newsletter connected to Indian Academy of Sciences. I'll try to summarize the results and methods of this research.
The researchers placed two mobile phones next to a beehive, and have kept them on for half an hour a day. To check, they observed what was going on in a hive next to which were placed only mobile games. After three months, the ROFIT: fewer worker bees are able to return to the hive with real phones. We were both drastically reduced the deposition of eggs by the queen and the production of honey.
Researchers at the University of the Punjab argue that the electro, although modest, may interfere with the biology of bees, since their body is inside the magnetite.
